Welcome to Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security!

The Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security cluster prepares students for service in public safety and security. Students have the opportunity to choose one of three pathways:  Emergency and Fire Management Services, Legal Services, and Law Enforcement Services. Responsibilities include prevention of and protection from harm such as crime or natural disasters.  Included in the cluster, are skills and knowledge that will enhance academic foundations, communications, problem solving and critical thinking, information technology systems, safety, health and environment, leadership and teamwork, ethics and legal responsibilities, employability and career development, technical skills, and fiscal responsibilities. Career opportunities range from public safety officers to legal services to homeland security.
